“Z Chair” is a geometric sculptural object made of elements that balance between monumentality and fragility. The coat of ruby lacquer is a shell for the steel surface within. The work is the result of the research of spatial form creation methods. The object has been created in Uģis Traumanis' metal art workshop.
Regardless of the specialization, be it metal, fashion, product, graphic, interior, or environment, it is very important to address a specific audience, often solving a problem or a topical issue for society. With an exhibition in an urban environment, we approach society by becoming more accessible and more visible, to involve a wider audience in our educational processes.
