The collection was made using donated fabric leftovers, deadstock fabric and existing clothing that was both purchased in local thrift shops and handpicked from AJ Power Recycling. I made sure that the textile materials I used were of good quality but with some defect that deterred them from being used in their original form. As a part of my thesis research, I spoke to people from the industry looking for potential collaboration partners and thus far everyone has welcomed the idea.
