Study process

MOSS-GROWN

The idea / inspiration for the collection came from a personal aversion to routine as too much general predictability that seems monotonous. Therefore, in the development of the collection second-hand materials – sweaters – were also used, which made the work process unpredictable. It was not clear if the number of sweaters found would be enough to make the planned outfits, also the selection of sweaters in the desired colours was a time-consuming process, leading to the need to dye them. Some of the sweaters in the collection have been dyed several times until the desired shade was obtained.

It was the unpredictability of the final result and a bit of fear accompanying the work process that created the excitement of countless hours devoted to the realisation of the idea. The sense of time disappeared and the routine faded away.
