In my undergraduate project I tackle the problem of everyday stress with a tactile solution. Stress manifests itself as a mess in the mind, preventing a person from fully functioning. Research shows that touch reduces stress, which drives my idea: textured panels with moving plastic cylinders. Users can immerse themselves in the texture, de-stressing for a moment. Emphasis is placed on the experimental aspect, which allows for a wider range of panels to be placed in a space, contributing to an unforgettable stress-relieving experience.
